Who is responsible
This website belongs to Jules Ruby, Cape Town, South Africa. Questions about your information go to hello@julesrubyphotography.co.za.
What is collected
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, your message and, if you choose to give them, the project type, date, location and budget range. The site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Why
To read your enquiry and reply to it. Your details are not sold, and they are not used for marketing unless you ask to hear from Jules.
Who handles it
Form submissions pass through the site’s hosting provider (Netlify) and arrive as email. Photographs are delivered by an image service (ImageKit) and fonts by Google Fonts, so those services can see your IP address when a page loads, as with most websites.
How long it is kept
Only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, or as the law requires.
Your rights
Under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask to see, correct or delete the information held about you. Email the address above and it will be dealt with. You may also complain to the Information Regulator.
